Market prices apply to Eurostar to Belgium/France:
Seat reservation is compulsory and included in the ticket.
There are multiple fares. Each fare comes with its own conditions for changing and cancelling bookings.

Booking early increases the chance of tickets for the best possible prices.
You can obtain the ticket price by entering your journey details in the 'Where would you like to go?' section on NSInternational.com.
A Eurostar ticket is only valid on Eurostar trains, not on other trains, including Eurocity Direct / EuroCity / Intercity Brussels, regular Intercity trains and local trains.

Boarding the train at a different station
You may only get on or off the train at the station stated on the ticket. Eurostar tickets are issued based on origin and destination, not based on the price. Even if there is no price difference, passengers require official permission from the train manager or Eurostar to get on or off the train later (e.g. at Schiphol Airport instead of Amsterdam Centraal).
Please note: The seat guarantee expires if you get on the train later. The train manager can assign the seat to a different passenger after 15 minutes.
Eurostar to Belgium/France conducts random security checks at Paris Gare du Nord, during which the luggage and passports are checked. Passengers are thus advised to be present on the platform 20 minutes prior to departure of the train. For other stations, the general advice is to be at the station about 15-20 minutes before departure.
