Children and youths must have a valid passport in their own name.
They have all the required visas or other immigration documents for the countries they are travelling through.
Children travelling alone or with an adult who is not their parent or legal guardian must present written evidence that their parents give consent to the journey.

The form on the website is intended to help. The parents or guardian may also write their own letter giving their consent.

Aged 0 to 11 years (inclusive)
Children up to the age of 11 years (inclusive) are not allowed to travel alone. They have to travel with:
a parent or legal guardian
an adult (aged 16 years or over) who is in possession of written permission from the child's parent or legal guardian. This is checked during boarding and disembarking.
Children aged 4 to 11 (inclusive) travel at the Child fare.
Children up to the age of 3 (inclusive) travel for free with their companion adult provided they do not use a seat of their own and do not bring any luggage of their own. If they do require a seat of their own, they travel at the Child fare.
Each adult can bring 1 child up to 3 years (inclusive) for free.
There are baby-changing facilities on all Eurostar to London trains.
Although baby food is not sold on the trains, it can be heated up if you bring your own.
Aged 12 to 15 years (inclusive)
On Eurostar trains between London and the Netherlands (direct connection) in both directions, children aged 12 to 15 (inclusive) are not allowed to travel on their own. They need to be accompanied by:
a parent or legal guardian
a responsible companion aged at least 16 in possession of the consent form from the parents or legal guardian of the youth. The completed form needs to be shown when checking in and out and during the journey at the request of the Eurostar personnel.
On Eurostar trains between Brussels and London in both directions, unaccompanied minors aged 12 to 15 (inclusive) can travel on Eurostar as long as:
they are in possession of the consent form from their parents or legal guardian. The completed form needs to be shown when checking in and out and during the journey at the request of the Eurostar personnel.
the minor is accompanied to the station by a responsible adult of 18 years or over who will stay at the station until the train has departed.
they travel on a train that departs between 6.00 and 17.00 hrs local time.
There is no discounted fare for youths aged 12 to 15 (inclusive), they travel at the regular fare for adults.
Aged 16 and over
Youths aged 16 or over can travel on Eurostar to London unaccompanied with the travel documents normally required.
There is no discounted fare for youths aged 16 or over, they travel at the regular fare for adults.
