What should I do if I miss my train?

  • I missed my train while abroad
Are you currently abroad and have you missed your train because of train traffic disruption? Then go to the international service desk at your foreign station or the train staff. The staff can assist you further.
    • Is there no service desk at your foreign station? Then contact the original point of sales of your ticket.
      • For tickets bought at NSInternational.com or at NS International Customer Service: discuss your options via Service & Contact in the left bottom of the page or call +31 30 2300023.
  • Major disruptions
If you have missed your train because of major disruptions in train traffic due to, for example, extreme weather conditions, strikes or signal and switch failures, the impact is often large and complex. In that case, we publish large-scale exceptions for ticket conditions, travel alternatives and refunds as soon as possible on the Travel Information page on NSInternational.com.
