You can book a Sparpreis Europa ticket from 6 months before departure. If engineering works are planned on your route, the Sparpreis Europa ticket will only become available when the route and timetable of your train are known.
You can exchange or cancel a Sparpreis Europa ticket up to 12:00 AM on the first day on which it is valid, at a cost of € 19 (plus or minus the costs for the new ticket and seat reservations, if applicable).
