Because of a delay, I have additional expenses. Can I get these refunded?
Whether you can get additional expenses refunded depends on various factors, for example which train you travelled on and what happened.
You can request a refund of additional expenses that were made in the Netherlands either by email or by regular mail to:

Be sure to quote your booking code (DNR) in your request for a refund and send your original tickets and/or vouchers along with your request (be sure to make copies of them beforehand). NS International Customer Service will then determine whether you are entitled to a refund of your additional expenses.
