How do I apply for a refund?

  • Do you want to apply for a refund after the departure date for a ticket that you haven't used?
    • You can apply for a refund through our email form
  • Do you want to exchange or cancel a ticket before the travel date?
    • If you have bought your ticket on NSInternational.com or via NS International Customer service, follow the step-by-step instructions on Change or cancel your trip to exchange or cancel your ticket yourself.
      • If you can exchange or cancel your ticket online, but instead ask NS International Customer service or a NS International Service desk to do this for you, you pay a service fee. 
    • In all other cases, contact the original point of sale.
  • In case of an emergency, such as a strike or a storm, you will receive an e-mail with instructions how to exchange or cancel your ticket free of charge.
