  • Cross-border train services between France and Germany are maintained by high-speed trains (TGVs and ICEs) operated by Alleo, a partnership of German and French railway companies. 
  • Please note: the TGV Paris ⇔ Freiburg (Breisgau) Hbf is not an Alleo train.

Fare structure 
  • The following applies to TGV/ICE France – Germany: A seat reservation is required and included in the ticket. 
    • The earlier you book, the more likely it is that inexpensive tickets will be available. 
    • The lower the ticket price, the more conditions for changing and cancelling apply. 
    • If you are travelling by TGV/ICE between two German stations, market prices do not apply and you book a ticket from the NS product range: ICE/ IC Berlin/NVS to/from/through Germany » Fares and conditions. 
  • TGV France – Germany has Souplesse Tarifaire; ticket prices are variable and depend on availability. 
  • There are no fare tables. Prices can be obtained by making a booking in @lantis. 
  • Tickets are available at various fares.
