Nightjet ÖBB is equipped with various types of accommodation. Multiple facilities are available, depending on the accommodation.
Seats
Compartment with six seats.
These compartments cannot be locked, unless the entire compartment has been booked and then only after consultation with the train personnel.
The seats can be adjusted to create a kind of berth, except on the IC part of the train between Basel SBB and Zurich.
Shared toilet and washbasin in the corridor.
Breakfast not included.
Each compartment has two power sockets.

Bed size is approximately 190 x 75 cm.
Boys travelling with their mothers are not allowed in here. In that case, a compartment of their own or a berth in a regular (mixed) compartment must be booked.

Entire compartment
(Lockable) compartment with six berths for a maximum of six passengers travelling together.
Bed size is approximately 190 x 75 cm.
The following applies: A maximum of three adults; the remaining spaces can be used for children aged up to 14. (This means a maximum of five children are allowed with one adult, a maximum of four children with two adults, a maximum of three children with three adults). The fare cannot be used for six adults.
Booking: Choose the Complete section fare and enter 6 for the number of passengers. Click on the plus sign at the end of the order line and select: Compartment type / Entire compartment
Bar carriage
There is no bar carriage. Snacks and drinks are available from the steward. A menu with what is on offer is displayed in every carriage.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is not yet available on Nightjet trains.
Bicycle carriage
There is a bicycle carriage on Nightjet trains between Germany and Switzerland/Austria. This requires a reservation. There is no bicycle carriage on other Nightjet trains.
