Familienabteil [Family compartment]
The Familienabteil is a compartment with six berths for a maximum of three adults and three children aged up to and including 14.
Ladies' compartment
A compartment with four berths for women and girls only.
Boys travelling with their mothers are not allowed in here. In that case, a compartment of their own or a berth in a regular (mixed) compartment must be booked.
