  • Only take luggage you can easily carry and stow yourself.
  • Luggage must not hinder other passengers.
  • While Intercity Brussels has no maximum dimensions for luggage, everything has to fit in the luggage racks or under the seats. Oversized luggage can be placed in the entrance vestibule. Do not block any doors or aisles in doing so.

    • Folding pushchairs or buggies
    • Oxygen canisters (with a medical certificate)
    • Musical instruments
  • Specific conditions apply for taking wheelchairs, folding bicycles and bicycles (electric or otherwise). For more more information, see
  • You must not take items that are prohibited by customs or another government body. These include:
    • Narcotics
    • Weapons/firearms (including replicas and toy weapons)
    • Explosives
    • Fireworks
    • Gas canisters
    • Knives or combat arms (not even for ceremonial and/or sports purposes)
What next
