I want to postpone my journey. Do I first have to cancel my ticket?

  • Changing the date and/or departure time is only possible if the Terms and conditions allow it. 
    • Please note: do you want to exchange or cancel your tickets because of a calamity that causes a delay of more than 60 minutes or because of a strike and this results in extra costs? Do not exchange or cancel online, but contact NS International Customer service on +31 30 2300023 to avoid having to pay unnecessary exchange or cancellation fees.
  • If you want to change your journey, do not cancel it online, because the conditions for changing and cancelling are different. Change your tickets at the original point of sale where you bought them.
    • Did you buy your ticket on NSInternational.com or by telephone from NS International Customer Service, follow this page about changing or cancelling.
    • Did you buy your ticket at a Service office with a NS International desk or from a travel agent? Contact or visit your original point of sale. They will help you with your request.
    • In all other instances, contact NS International Customer service on +31 30 2300023.
