TGV France ⇔ Switzerland (Lyria) » Facilities on board

The TGV Lyria has first and second-class coaches. A distinction is also made between Standard 1ère and Business 1ère in first-class coaches from Sunday to Friday on the Paris - Geneva and Paris - Basel/Zürich routes. You have various facilities available to you, depending on the class and the fare you are travelling in.
 
Second class (Standard) 
  • Coach with a central aisle. 
  • Double seats (two seats next to each other). 
  • Table seats (four seats around a table). 
 
First class (Standard 1ère) 
  • Spacious seat with plenty of leg room.  
  • Solo seats (single seats) available. 
  • Power sockets. 
 
First class (Business 1ère = Standard 1ère plus extras below) 
  • Free in-seat catering. 
  • Hot towel. 
  • Newspapers and magazines. 
  • Reservations for taxis in Paris. 
 
Wheelchair space 
 
Baby-changing facilities 
  • There are baby-changing facilities in second class on most TGVs. 
  • There are, however, no baby-changing facilities on the TGV Duplex (TGD) and the TGV to/from Brussels Midi. 
 
Bar coach 
  • There is a bar section available in coach 4 or 14, offering hot and cold drinks, snacks, salads and magazines. 
  • A trolley catering service is also available in the train. 
  • You can have a baby's bottle or babyfood heated up. 
 
Bicycle spaces 
  • You can take an unpacked bicycle on a limited number of TGVs with you. 
    • Packed bicycles can always be taken on the train as luggage
  • Please use the French journey planner to find TGVs carrying bicycles. 
  • These bicycle spaces cannot be booked with NS International.

Wi-Fi/mobile 
  • No Wi-Fi on the majority of TGVs as yet. 
  • Good reception for mobile phones.
