Conditions 
General 
  • If you are travelling abroad with a pet, you are bound by the laws and regulations of all the countries you are travelling through. That means your pet must have been chipped, be vaccinated in time against rabies and have a valid pet passport. For more information, please consult your veterinary surgeon.
 
On the train 
  • The following conditions apply to travelling with pets on the TGV: 
    • A maximum of two pets per person. 
    • Small pets weighing under 6 kg are carried in a kennel or transport cage or basket with a maximum size of 45 x 30 x 20 cm (l x w x h). 
    • You can take medium/large dogs on the train with you, provided they are on a leash and wearing a muzzle. 
    • Guide dogs or other assistance dogs are not required to wear a muzzle.
