Conditions 
General 
  • If you are travelling abroad with a pet, foreign laws and regulations apply. A valid pet passport with vaccinations required for the country is compulsory.
    For more information, please consult your veterinary surgeon.
 
On the train 
  • The following conditions apply to travelling with pets on the TGV: 
    • Small pets weighing under 6 kg are carried for free (without a ticket) in a kennel or transport cage with a maximum size of 45 x 30 x 25 cm (l x w x h). 
    • You can take medium/large dogs on the train with you, provided they are on a leash and wearing a muzzle. 
  • Guide dogs or other assistance dogs are not required to wear a muzzle. 
    • Assistance dogs travel for free (without a ticket).
