Conditions
There are no special fares for passengers with a disability, they travel at a regular fare.
There is a reduced fare for the accompanying passenger, the Companion fare.
Travelling with a wheelchair
The maximum dimensions of a wheelchair (folding, electric or otherwise) or a mobility scooter are: 120 x 70 cm (l x w).
Passengers in wheelchairs travel at the Wheelchair fare.
Please note: in addition to a special ticket, please also reserve a special wheelchair space.
The adapted wheelchair space is located in:
TGV: in first class, coach 1 or 11, seat 23
ICE: in second class, coach 24 or 34, seat 66
The accompanying-passenger fare applies to accompanying passengers.
The seats next to the wheelchair spaces remain free for accompanying passengers. It is not necessary/possible to reserve these seats.
Travelling with a visual impairment
Passengers with a visual impairment travel at a regular fare.
Accompanying passengers travel at the accompanying-passenger fare.
Travelling with a registered assistance dog
Guide dogs and other assistance dogs travel for free, without a ticket. A muzzle is not required.

Requests for assistance during an international journey should be submitted at least 24 hours before departure of the train.
