Do I have to buy a ticket for my child with a Kids Vrij season ticket if we want to travel to Belgium or Luxembourg?

  • Are you travelling with children up to and including 3 years old?
    Children up to and including 3 years old travel for free and without a ticket on international trains by default, as long as they do not occupy a seat.
     
  • Are you travelling with children from 4 to 11 years old?
    Children from 4 to 11 years old inclusive can travel for free without a Kids Vrij season ticket in Belgium and Luxembourg, but they do need a ticket. They have to be accompanied by an adult who is 18 years of age or older.
     
  • Can I get a discount on Eurostar to Belgium/France with a Kids Vrij season ticket?
    Kids Vrij is not valid for Eurostar to Belgium/France.
